Ingredients:
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions:
In a skillet, brown ground beef until no longer pink, then drain excess fat
Transfer cooked beef to the slow cooker
Add diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the slow cooker
Sprinkle taco seasoning over the ingredients in the slow cooker
Pour salsa and beef broth over everything in the slow cooker
Stir to combine all ingredients
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally
Once done, use a fork to break up any large chunks of meat and stir well
Serve the taco meat in tortillas or over rice, topped with your favorite taco toppings
