Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk any type
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Mix the milk and rolled oats together in a bowl
Leave them alone for ten minutes to soften the oats
Take out a different bowl and mix the brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt with a whisk
Put the oats in water for a while, then add the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract
Combine well
Combine the oats with the dry ingredients and stir just until everything is mixed together
It's okay if there are lumps; don't mix it too much
Add a little butter or cooking spray to a griddle or nonstick skillet and heat it up over medium-high heat
Each pancake should have 1/4 cup of batter put on a hot griddle
Once the top starts to bubble, flip it over and cook the other side until it's golden brown
Top the oatmeal pancakes with your favorite things, like yogurt, fresh fruit, or maple syrup while they are still hot
